Stonehurst live in Christchurch! 22nd February at The Club Tavern, Christchurch feat. Enfire and Fall of Them.

Never before has Stonehurst been more excited to play their own headline show in their home town of Christchurch, New Zealand. With a great venue and devoted audience, Stonehurst are at the top of their game and in the early stages of creating their third album 'Wild Visions'.

Since their last home town headline show at the D4 ,Feb 2019, Stonehurst - featuring Tim Hunt (Vocals/ Rhythm Guitar), David Hunt (Bass), Rhyz Bell (Lead Guitar) and Jay Arthur (Drums), have developed something of a reputation as a killer live act, recently described as 'Black Sabbath meets Clutch', which reflects not only on their radical heavy blues riffs and influences, but their abilities as songwriters and a melodic and new approach to heavy psychedelic stoner rock music.

On February 22nd 2020, Stonehurst return for a headline show at The Club Tavern with local legendary heavy acts Enfire and Fall of Them. This will be a special first headline show with their new line up set to satisfy heavy metal, stoner rock, doom, psychedelic, hard rock and ethereal prog fanatics. Fans can also expect merch and some awesome giveaways at the door!

Stonehurst's upcoming album 'Wild Visions' provides proof positive that the NZ heavy rock/metal scene is currently in strong health and refreshes the genre with energy and creativity. As one might expect, there are guitar solos aplenty but none at the expense of the song which is always king in the land of Stonehurst. Live, as in the studio, Stonehurst offer a cornucopia of delights, both vintage and modern, drawing influences worldwide, consummately executed and a whole heap of fun!

See you at the Club Tavern 22/02/20!

Massive thank you to CANNA as always for helping out, Waghorn builders and Slick Burgers getting behind this event! (Look out for The Hurst Burger at Slick Burgers leading up to the show!)
